Large Yellow Underwing - Noctua pronuba

The Large Yellow Underwing is a very common and widely spread moth inhabiting areas from gardens to woodland and most frequently in open grassy lowlands. The larvae feed on a wide range of grasses and plants including docks, brassicas and Foxglove.
