Transect News

24 May 2017: Additional volunteers required

There are some 140 transects being walked in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight monitoring butterfly numbers throughout the two counties.

We are always looking for additional volunteers and this year help is needed in particular at the following two sites.

Ludshott Common West of Grayshott, heathland

Conford Moor North-west of Liphook, wet meadow, scrub and woodland.

If you can help please contact lindabarker4.AT.btinternet.com

There are other transects which need help in other parts of the county and on the Isle Wight so please contact Linda if you are interested in finding out more.

New graphical options for data analysis

The .pdf below provides instructions on how to access the latest functionality for graphical output and analysis using TransectWalker online. In particular it explains how to produce "Year by Year Index Plots", and "Section Plots" for your transect.
